Further develop existing methods to leverage them for reading samples with higher levels of process impurities. Design and execute experiments in support of the broader conjugation team goals.&nbsp; The Intern will learn and practice:&nbsp;&nbsp; How the conjugation process fits into the broader vaccine development process. Preparing reagents, buffers, and mobile phases for various assays/instruments. Performing colorimetric assays to assess concentration and impurity levels. How to set up and run samples on HPLC/SEC-MALS, and then analyze the generated results. &nbsp; Program Details: The Internship will begin in June and will be around 10 weeks (8 hours per day) in duration at our San Carlos, California location.&nbsp;&nbsp; Requirements:&nbsp; Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (enrolled student with at least 1 year at university completed) with a focus on Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.&nbsp; Proficiency in Microsoft Office. &nbsp; Strong attention to detail and work quality. Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork.&nbsp; &nbsp; Enthusiastic-Shows curiosity and is eager to learn. Prior wet-lab experience strongly preferred, including accurate pipetting, solution preparation, and basic documentation practices. Enthusiastic and curious to learn about bioconjugate development. Strong attention to detail and work quality. Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork. Accurate entry, tracking, and reporting of work orders in the CMMS. Completion of space planning exercises, including space data updates and utilization analysis using space planning systems. Timely and accurate triage, tracking, and reporting of workplace and security tickets.&nbsp; The Intern will learn and practice:&nbsp;&nbsp; Learn how facilities, lab, and construction projects move from planning through execution and closeout. Hands-on exposure to asset management, preventative maintenance concepts, and how reliability, safety, and compliance are maintained in an operational environment. Build familiarity with tools such as CMMS, space planning systems, and ticketing systems to track work, assets, and space metrics. &nbsp; Gain an understanding of how Facilities partners with vendors, contractors, and other internal teams to deliver projects and day-to-day support.&nbsp; Program Details: The Internship will begin in June and will be around 10 weeks (8 hours per day) in duration at our San Carlos, California location.&nbsp;&nbsp; Requirements:&nbsp; Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (enrolled student with at least 1 year at university completed) with a focus on Construction Management, Facility Management, Business Management, or related major Proficiency in Microsoft Office. &nbsp; Strong attention to detail and work quality.
