Our team values and celebrates our diverse backgrounds. Being open about who we are and what we do allows us to do the best work of our lives. We believe in equal opportunity for all, and you should too.
Come do the best work of your life at Boulevard. Boulevard is the client experience platform purpose-built for salons, spas, medspas, and wellness businesses. More than 5,000 businesses use Boulevard — processing over $5 billion in payments annually. We've raised $188M in funding and are scaling fast, with growing ambitions in enterprise and multi-location operators.
Every salon, spa, and medspa deserves a front desk that never misses a call, never drops a message, and always knows what to say. Boulevard's AI Receptionist is building that — agentic AI that handles client communication across voice and text so businesses can grow faster, operate leaner, and deliver an exceptional experience every time. This role owns that vision end-to-end.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the AI Receptionist product end-to-end

You'll set the vision, roadmap, and success criteria for Boulevard's AI Receptionist suite — our answer to the modern contact center for self-care businesses. That means owning how AI engages clients in 1:1 interactions across voice and text: when it handles conversations autonomously, when it hands off to staff, and how that transition feels invisible to the client and effortless for the team.

Define what great AI-powered client communication looks like

You'll develop a deep point of view on where AI should handle interactions autonomously, where it should hand off to staff, and how to make that transition seamless — including how conversations maintain continuity across channels, how fallback behaviors are designed when AI can't resolve something, and how the overall experience feels coherent whether a client is talking to AI or a human.

Drive adoption and outcomes

You'll own the business outcomes for the AI Receptionist — revenue, adoption, and retention — and define the product metrics that drive them: autonomous resolution rate, agent productivity, CSAT, and more. You'll collaborate on pricing strategy and be expected to connect what's happening in the product to what it means for their business.

Represent the customer

You'll develop genuine fluency with how self-care businesses manage client communication today — what they trust, what they fear, what they'd delegate in a heartbeat and what they'd never let out of human hands. That customer insight is what separates AI that gets adopted from AI that gets turned off.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

5–8 years in product management with experience in B2B2C or both B2C and B2B environments — you understand what it means to serve a business and their end customer simultaneously

Experience shipping AI-powered products — you know how to shape how AI behaves, design for when it falls short, and earn user trust over time

LLM fluency — enough hands-on familiarity with LLMs and prompt design to partner credibly with engineering without needing a translator

AI-native in your own practice — you're using tools like Claude daily, running side projects, and staying genuinely close to how the technology is evolving

Strong voice-of-customer instincts — you've built products for users who are skeptical of automation and know how to design for trust

Data fluency — you're comfortable defining metrics, pulling your own analysis, and building the case for roadmap bets with evidence

Cross-functional leadership — you've influenced engineering, design, and data teams without relying on authority, and you've kept multiple workstreams moving in parallel

Clear communication — you can translate complex AI product decisions into terms that resonate with business owners, cross-functional partners, and leadership alike

PREFERRED

Experience with conversational AI, voice interfaces, or messaging products

Experience in vertical SaaS or services-industry platforms

Familiarity with AI quality evaluation — you've thought about how to measure and improve AI conversation quality, not just ship it

A genuine affinity for small businesses — you understand their constraints and what it takes to earn their trust

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The AI Receptionist is one of Boulevard's highest-visibility bets. For a self-care business, the front-of-house experience — answering calls, responding to texts, knowing when to bring a human in — is where client relationships are made or broken. AI that gets this right is transformative. AI that gets it wrong damages trust overnight.

This role is a rare opportunity to build an AI product that has a direct, tangible impact on how thousands of small businesses show up for their clients — at a company that's well-funded, growing fast, and early enough in its AI journey that this PM will genuinely shape the direction.

Every transaction that flows through Boulevard is a moment of truth — for the client who just received a service, and for the business trying to run a great operation. Commerce isn't just a feature layer; it's the transactional layer that thousands of businesses rely on to deliver exceptional client service, transact, and grow revenue. When the experience is right, it's seamless. When it's not, friction ripples from the front desk all the way into the business' books.
As Boulevard expands upmarket, supports complex franchise brands, and grows internationally, the commerce experience has to scale with it — more flexible, more reliable, and more intuitive for the operators and clients who depend on it every day. As Senior PM for Commerce Experience, you'll partner closely with a dedicated engineering and design team, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate underlying capabilities into experiences that feel obvious, trustworthy, and complete for a business and their clients. You'll bring rigor to how we measure and improve those experiences over time, using data and customer insight to continuously close the gap between where things are and where they need to be.

What You'll Bring
-5–8 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a B2B or SaaS environment and a track record of owning consumer-facing flows end-to-end
-Systems thinker: You connect the dots across complex workflows, multiple persona types, and technical constraints — and translate that into product decisions that feel simple to the people on the receiving end, whether that's a client completing a transaction or an operator running a multi-location business
-Commerce to close: You've owned experiences that span the full transaction lifecycle — from checkout through to financial reporting, accounting and the other data surfaces andbusiness tools operators depend on
-Strong design partnership: You bring design in early, push the thinking together, and hold a high bar for experience quality without losing sight of what's shippable
-Bias toward outcomes: You navigate ambiguity by anchoring on what actually matters — cutting through noise to find the right problem, and measuring your work by whether it moved something real for the business or the people using it
-Cross-functional influence: You've worked effectively across product, engineering, and adjacent teams without direct authority, and you know how to move work forward when ownership lines are blurry
-Fluency with AI tools as part of your own practice — to accelerate discovery, sharpen tradeoffs, or move faster

Preferred
-Experience in vertical SaaS, or services-industry platforms

Read through our story and what we value the most. Our team values and celebrates our diverse backgrounds. Being open about who we are and what we do allows us to do the best work of our lives. We believe in equal opportunity for all, and you should too. What You'll Do As Senior PM for Developer Ecosystems, you'll play a critical role in driving our ecosystem strategy across four key areas: Ecosystem Strategy & VisionWorking in close partnership with Boulevard's Partnerships team, you'll help define the ecosystem strategy — who we build for, where we play, and how we grow. Your work will deeply influence the build-vs-partner framework: when Boulevard builds a capability as a core product feature, when we enable a third-party developer, and when a strategic partnership is the right answer. This shapes not just the integration roadmap, but what Boulevard builds internally. You'll play a key role in driving alignment with executive stakeholders on where the ecosystem goes next. Partner & Integration ExperienceYou'll own Boulevard's integration portfolio end-to-end — from the 1st party integrations that businesses depend on today (Shopify, QuickBooks, etc) to the developer platform and partnerships that expand what Boulevard can deliver tomorrow. From developer onboarding to ongoing partnership, you'll shape how integrations create compounding value for self-care businesses. MCP & AI ConnectivityOwn Boulevard's MCP strategy — how external AI agents and systems interact with Boulevard on behalf of businesses and clients. Define where we play, what we expose, and how we turn this into a differentiator. Define and Measure SuccessDefine what good looks like — developer adoption, integration usage, partner-driven revenue impact — and use those signals to continuously define and refine the vision and roadmap. What You'll Bring Platform PM experience: 5+ years in product management, with significant time owning developer-facing products — APIs, developer portals, or similar Ecosystem strategy depth: You've contributed to building or scaling a developer ecosystem and have a point of view on how ecosystems grow — how to sequence partner investment, where API monetization fits into a platform strategy, and how the dynamics shift as an ecosystem matures Build vs. partner judgment: You have a framework for when to build in-house, when to enable third-party developers, and when a strategic partnership is the right answer — and a track record of applying it consistently under pressure Technical fluency: You can discuss API design, webhook architecture, and MCP without engineers translating for you Partnership collaboration: You've worked in close, shared-accountability relationships with a Partnerships or BD team — collaborating on roadmap priorities, navigating co-development tradeoffs, and building the product frameworks that make partner relationships scalable Executive communication: This space is new to Boulevard and requires ongoing alignment up and across the org. You communicate complex technical tradeoffs clearly to cross-functional stakeholders, including leadership, and can connect developer platform work to broader company priorities First-principles thinking: You're energized by ambiguity and have demonstrated examples of bringing clarity and structure to spaces that are still taking shape Preferred Fluency with AI tools as part of your own practice — using them to accelerate discovery, sharpen tradeoff analysis, or communicate complex decisions Experience in vertical SaaS, services-industry platforms, or multi-tenant B2B environments Why This Role Matters Boulevard is at an inflection point — going upmarket, investing in AI, and scaling toward a much larger ambition. Every growth vector depends on a platform that external developers, partners, and AI agents can build on. That platform doesn't fully exist yet. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-leverage role at a well-funded company with clear market leadership — and shape an ecosystem that is still early enough to define. What you build in the next 12–24 months will shape Boulevard's extensibility for years to come. Sales Development Representative

Who is Boulevard?
Boulevard provides the first and only client experience platform for appointment-based, self-care businesses. We empower our customers to give their clients more of the magical moments that matter most.
Before launching in 2016, our founders spent months interviewing salon managers and working behind front desks to understand their pain points so we could design a modern, user-friendly platform that meets the unique needs of their business. Our technology not only helps our customers survive but thrive.
More than 5,000 businesses use Boulevard to manage scheduling, payments, marketing, and client relationships — processing over $5 billion in payments annually. We’ve raised $188M in funding and are growing fast, particularly as we expand upmarket into multi-location and franchise operators.
We’re looking for a Staff Data Scientist to build Boulevard’s Product Intelligence function and own its core responsibilities. You have deep and broad experience in as many of these three disciplines 1. Doing the engineering work to build and maintain the tech stack 2. Data analysis and insights on product feature use to support product decisions 3. Using data science approaches like experiment design, measuring experiment results and building models that helps us understand customer behavior and customer product use better. You know what good looks like, you hold yourself and your work to that standard, and you don’t wait to be asked before surfacing what matters.
This role requires someone who is genuinely energized by ambiguity. There is no well-worn path to follow, you’ll be defining the questions, building the infrastructure to answer them, and charting the course forward — often without perfect information. That’s not a warning; for the right person, it’s the whole appeal.
You operate with the mindset of a team builder — creating processes, documenting best practices, and working with the structure and rigor that makes this function scalable from day one.
Key Responsibilities

Build Boulevard’s product data foundation - partnering across the Product Development organization to define what needs to be captured and how, and designing the models and the tech stack that translate raw data into clean, reliable and scalable analysis-ready assets in partnership with data engineering

In tight partnership with Product, develop data-driven recommendations that inform strategy and drive action — through engaging narratives, effective data storytelling, and visualizations adapted to the audience, from individual contributors to executive leadership

Build scalable, intuitive and self-serve dashboards that empower teams and stakeholders to independently explore data and make informed strategic decisions; fostering a data-driven culture by educating and enabling stakeholders to interpret data and act on it with confidence. Operationalize product analytics. Connect product analytics to OKRs and business outcomes.

Own deep-dive and exploratory analyses that up-level understanding of customers and their relationship with the product (e.g. funnel analysis, retention curves, cohort behavior, feature adoption) — surface insights proactively and build analytical narratives that support strategic business cases and influence product direction

Be the bridge between product data and the broader organization — ensuring insights actively inform and influence cross-functional decisions and outcomes

Create team processes and analytical workflows that enforce data accuracy and scale as the function grows; advocate for the tooling investments the team requires

Experimentation, design, not just readout. Own the experimentation practice for Product Development — partner with PMs and engineering to design experiments before feature releases (hypothesis, primary and guardrail metrics, unit of randomization, power and duration), then run the analysis and deliver a clear, defensible read on impact. Establish the standards, templates, and Statsig/tooling workflows that make experimentation the default way Boulevard evaluates a feature launch, and be honest about when a clean test isn't possible — designing the best available quasi-experimental read (pilot cohorts, staged rollouts, difference-in-differences, pre/post with controls) instead.

Modeling customer behavior. Apply statistical and machine learning methods to explain and predict customer behavior — propensity and adoption models, retention and churn risk, segmentation and clustering of usage patterns, time-to-value and activation modeling, and driver analysis that separates correlation from cause. Choose the simplest method that answers the question, validate rigorously (holdouts, backtesting, recall/precision trade-offs framed by business cost), and communicate uncertainty as clearly as the point estimate.

Get model output into the workflow. Take models from analysis to production — partner with data engineering to schedule, monitor, and version them, and land the output where it drives action (in-product surfaces, Gainsight, Salesforce, CSM and PM workflows). Own model performance over time, including drift, retraining, and retiring models that stop earning their keep.

What You’ll Need to Thrive
Required

8+ years of proven experience in data science or product analytics or engineering in a B2B SaaS or high-growth technology environment, with meaningful time spent in early-stage or low data-maturity environments — you’ve built the foundation, not just worked on top of one someone else laid. Act Like an Owner

Fluency with data analysis and BI tools: SQL, analytical tools like Python / Jupyter notebooks, Snowflake, DBT, Sigma for data and reporting pipelines and AWS infrastructure to productionalize analytics / models in a repeatable way; strong proficiency with data modeling. Know Your Sh*t

Direct experience designing and executing product instrumentation strategies — defining event schemas, authoring tracking plans, and ensuring reliable data capture in partnership with product and engineering

Expertise in building dashboards and visualizations using platforms such as Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or similar — with a track record of creating self-serve tools that teams actually use

Significant experience working directly with product managers and leaders — translating data findings into actionable opportunities and tradeoffs that drive strategy and roadmap investment

Demonstrated ability to design and execute deep-dive analyses across the full product lifecycle — including funnel diagnostics, cohort and retention modeling, and behavioral segmentation — translating statistical findings into clear, decision-ready narratives for product and leadership audiences

Deep, hands-on statistical and machine learning expertise applied to customer behavior. Regression and classification, propensity and churn-risk modeling, clustering and behavioral segmentation, survival and time-to-value analysis — with the judgment to reach for the simplest method that answers the question, validate it honestly, and communicate uncertainty as clearly as the estimate. Know Your Sh*t

Proven experience owning experimentation end to end, designing tests before a feature ships (hypothesis, primary and guardrail metrics, randomization unit, power and duration), running the analysis, and delivering a defensible read on impact. Hands-on experience on a platform such as Statsig, Optimizely. Equally important: the causal-inference toolkit and the judgment to use it when a clean A/B test isn't possible. Know Your Sh*t

Ability to build and own your own data pipelines. Production-grade DBT models, transformations, and orchestration in Snowflake, written in code with tests, documentation, and version control. You're self-sufficient from raw event to analysis-ready asset, and you partner with data engineering on platform and scale rather than waiting in their queue. Act Like an Owner

Clear, confident communication with stakeholders at any level — you can build a narrative that lands with a PM or the executive team, and you deliver it with the kind of presence that builds trust. Show Up With Style

High level of ownership with a demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end, identify opportunities, navigate ambiguity, and build processes that scale — comfortable thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple competing priorities. Make an Impact

Proven track record of partnering cross-functionally and using product data to influence leadership decisions and outcomes — whether shaping go-to-market strategy, informing customer success priorities, or driving alignment across teams; you earn trust by being direct, generous with knowledge, and consistent in how you show up

Preferred

Experience evaluating or implementing product analytics tooling such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar platforms

Why This Role Matters
Boulevard is at an inflection point. We’re scaling upmarket, expanding our product surface, and making bigger bets on where the business goes next. Every one of those bets requires a trusted picture of what’s happening in the product today.

Product teams can’t build with conviction without knowing how customers use what we’ve already shipped — that’s you

New launches succeed or fail quietly without the instrumentation and frameworks to measure them — that’s you

The path to stronger ARR runs through understanding which customers get the most value, and why — that’s you

Leadership can’t make the right strategic bets without a reliable, trusted source of truth for product performance — that’s you

This is foundational work that compounds. What you build in the first year will shape how Boulevard makes product decisions for the next five.
Compensation
At Boulevard, we work hard to structure compensation in a way that balances internal equity with local market competitiveness, and we’re happy to share a good-faith estimate of the base salary range for this role. For all other U.S. locations, the anticipated base salary range is $171,400 - $201,800 per year. In addition to this base compensation, this role may be eligible to participate in a variable compensation program. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a hands-on systems builder who thrives at the intersection of CRM architecture, automation, and applied AI. The ideal candidate is a hands-on systems builder with deep CRM expertise and a pragmatic approach to AI and automation that drives measurable business outcomes.
You will report to the Director of Revenue Operations and partner closely with Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, Revenue Enablement, and Analytics to design and operationalize scalable workflows that dramatically reduce manual lift, increase demos per rep, and improve pipeline performance.
What you'll do here:

Own the architecture and evolution of automation workflows across Salesforce, Clay, LeanData, Gong, and Outreach to support outbound prospecting, enrichment, lead routing, and lifecycle management.

Design and operationalize AI-driven enrichment workflows in Clay, including custom prompt logic to extract relevant data from SMB websites where traditional data sources are limited.

Define and implement GPT-driven outbound personalization frameworks that improve seller efficiency and increase demos per rep.

Design and maintain integrations across Salesforce, Clay, LeanData, Gong, Outreach, and related GTM systems to ensure accurate, real-time data flow and long-term scalability.

Collaborate with Sales Ops and Marketing Ops to improve routing logic, enrichment standards, and scoring frameworks that support a scaling GTM organization.

Leverage Gong transcripts and conversation data to automate call insights into Salesforce, improving handoffs and cross-functional visibility.

Identify manual processes across the GTM motion and automate them to reduce rep lift and accelerate execution.

Own monitoring, alerting, and error handling for integration workflows, ensuring system reliability and performance.

Define governance standards for enrichment, routing, and data hygiene in partnership with Revenue Operations.

Partner with Revenue Enablement to automate call scoring and enable scalable coaching insights for leadership.

Support rollout and adoption of new workflows by documenting processes, creating SOPs, and recording Loom walkthroughs.

Proactively surface automation opportunities tied to measurable improvements in SDR productivity, enrichment coverage, and pipeline generation.

What you'll need to thrive:

3 to 5 years of experience in GTM Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations or a technical automation role within B2B SaaS.

Experience building and iterating on standalone internal tools/applications, with hands-on proficiency in Claude Code preferred.

BA/BS degree preferred.

Experience supporting a scaling B2B GTM organization with high outbound motion and fast sales cycle.

Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce and strong understanding of CRM architecture, object relationships, and lifecycle design. Admin experience preferred but not required.

Direct experience building workflows in Clay and LeanData.

Experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Workato, or N8N.

Experience with Gong and Outreach, or similar sales engagement and conversation intelligence tools.

Strong systems thinker with the ability to design automation that scales and supports accurate reporting, attribution, and forecasting.

Demonstrated ability to translate automation initiatives into measurable improvements in seller productivity and pipeline performance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical architecture, tradeoffs, and impact to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborative operator who works effectively across GTM teams while maintaining ownership over defined systems domains.

Comfortable operating as a high-autonomy individual contributor within a fast-paced, scaling SaaS environment.

GTM Engineer

Who is Boulevard?
Boulevard provides the first and only client experience platform for appointment-based, self-care businesses. We empower our customers to give their clients more of the magical moments that matter most.
Before launching in 2016, our founders spent months interviewing salon managers and working behind front desks to understand their pain points so we could design a modern, user-friendly platform that meets the unique needs of their business. Our roots may be in hair salons, but we are built for the broader self-care industry, including many types of salons, spas, medspa, barbershops, and more. Our technology not only helps our customers survive but thrive. Take a look at how we (and YOU) can make that happen.
We have an insatiable curiosity and embrace experimentation. We believe that simple solutions require the most sophistication, and we design each and every detail to maximize potential, power, and impact. Do our values match? Read through our story and what we value the most.
Our team values and celebrates our diverse backgrounds. Being open about who we are and what we do allows us to do the best work of our lives. We believe in equal opportunity for all, and you should too.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Customer Experience team is responsible for launching, supporting, and strengthening relationships with Boulevard's customers. As the Onboarding Manager for our Small/Medium Business segment, you will lead a team of 8–12 Onboarding Specialists (OSs) responsible for driving fast, consistent, and high-quality activations across our highest-volume customer segment.
This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on operational rigor, forecasting discipline, and coaching a team to hit velocity targets at scale. SMB success is defined by speed, standardization, and repeatability — helping customers reach value quickly through a consistent, well-executed process. You'll be accountable for outcomes, not activity: activation velocity, forecast accuracy, and team execution quality. Above all, you'll ensure every customer is positioned to achieve long-term success by balancing implementation speed with solution quality, customer readiness, and adoption.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Team Leadership & Development

Manage and develop a team of 8–12 OSs through structured 1:1s, Gong-based coaching, and performance reviews.

Drive a culture of ownership and accountability — coaching specialists to lead customer timelines firmly rather than passively tracking status.

Run structured weekly portfolio reviews covering On Track, At Risk, On Hold/Delayed, Forecasted Out, and Aging accounts, with a defined recovery plan and owner for every at-risk account.

Own new hire ramp quality, volume, and velocity, including acting as a buddy/shadow resource for new specialists' early customer assignments.

Develop future leaders through mentoring, stretch assignments, succession planning, and career development conversations.

Execution & Portfolio Management

Own team activation velocity against benchmark targets.

Track and enforce efficiency standards across the funnel to eliminate backlog drag.

Maintain forecast accuracy and hold specialists accountable for defensible, evidence-based commits.

Analyze operational trends to identify root causes impacting activation velocity, forecast accuracy, cancellations, customer delays, and portfolio health.

Ensure customers consistently complete implementation milestones and activation readiness standards.

Customer Risk Leadership

Own customer risk identification, mitigation strategies, and executive escalations to maximize activation success.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

Identify systemic bottlenecks across onboarding and recommend scalable process improvements.

Use portfolio trends and operational data to influence tooling, playbooks, customer journey improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.

Partner with Operations to improve reporting, automation, and onboarding efficiency.

Coaching & Quality

Score and review Gong calls per the coaching cadence.

Deliver documented coaching tied to specific behaviors: driving vs. tracking, handling pushback, timeline control, and escalation discipline.

Run team meetings that are portfolio-focused and action-oriented — activation pacing, risk cohort review, backlog recovery, and skill development.

Cross-Functional Business Partnership

Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure clean pre-sale to post-sale handoffs for the SMB segment.

Serve as the voice of the SMB customer across Product and Engineering, surfacing friction points from high-volume onboarding patterns.

Partner with Revenue Operations and Finance on capacity planning, reporting integrity, and operational efficiency.

Identify and champion automation, tooling, and process efficiencies that increase throughput without sacrificing quality.

Maintain data hygiene standards across project management and implementation platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

3+ years in SaaS onboarding, implementation, or customer success, with at least 1–2 years leading a team.

Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume portfolio with velocity and forecasting discipline.

Strong coaching skills — able to translate call reviews and metrics into specific, actionable behavior change.

Comfort operating in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment where speed and consistency matter.

Experience with data hygiene and reporting integrity in CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).

Experience with project management or implementation platforms.

Ability to hold a team accountable to standards while maintaining a supportive, development-oriented culture.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for both customer-facing escalations and internal reporting.

BONUS POINTS FOR

Experience managing high-volume onboarding motions.

Experience with Gong or similar conversation intelligence tools for coaching at scale.

Experience within wellness, healthcare, med spa, salon, or service-based industries.

Familiarity with GuideCX or related SaaS operational platforms.

Six Sigma, PMP, or other process-improvement credentials.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE

In Your First 30 Days
