The day-to-day: Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, includingstatements of work, sponsorship agreements, insertion orders and custom content/influenceragreements, terms of service for generative AI platforms/tools, NDAs, data protectionagreements, SaaS agreements and other related service or license agreements.

Training, educating, and advising teams about relevant legal issues and risks, approvalprocesses, and company policies and procedures across various departments. Conducting trademark clearance searches for developed trademarks, taglines/slogans, designs,and other consumer-facing content. Research and evaluation of current territory-specific laws, rules and regulations relating toemerging digital media issues and technology.  Internal auditing of operational best practices and compliance with client agreements, includingvendor reviews and auditing of internal processes and contracts.

Helping improve and/or develop our standard form agreements and/or processes. Providing support for and collaborating with the rest of the global Legal team on a wide variety ofmatters, as needed and assigned     The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:  BA/BS degree and J.D. degree with admission to one or more state bars in good standingrequired; NY Bar admission preferred.

Candidates who are currently pending admission will beconsidered and are encouraged to apply. 1-3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house or at a law firm working in digitalmedia, advertising, and/or data protection industry(ies); candidates with experience in theseareas as an intern or as a part of coursework are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of, general understanding and/or demonstrated interest or coursework related todigital advertising, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, data privacy laws and informationsecurity principles. A strong and demonstrated interest in the digital world, social media, and emerging technology.  Prior experience related to technology licensing and/or artificial intelligence, a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills (including effective communication oflegal advice to non-lawyers).  Quick learner with a strong work ethic and demonstrated initiative, responsibility, and attention todetail. Flexibility and readiness to work on a broad variety of matters and experience in finding business-forward solutions.
