Tekion employs close to 3,000 people across North America, Asia and Europe. This position is on site 4 days a week in Pleasanton, CA- Thursday remote.  Summary: ​The Senior Accountat will lead key components of the accounting cycle including complex reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial reporting.

This role plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, while supporting audits and process improvements across the finance function. ​ Duties & Responsibilities: Prepares and reviews journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for complex balance sheet and income statement accounts. ​Leads portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial results.

Supports preparation of financial statements and variance analysis for management reporting. ​Assists in the development and enforcement of accounting policies and internal controls. ​Coordinates with auditors during internal and external audit processes and provides required documentation. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.  In addition to the compensation listed, this position may be eligible for equity compensation, and/or a bonus or commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual or company performance.
