About The Role

The Procurement Intern will support the Procurement and Supply Chain team in executing day-to-day activities and key initiatives that enable efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to procurement, supplier management, and supply chain processes within a growing biopharmaceutical organization.

The intern will work cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Legal, R&D, Clinical, and Commercial, gaining practical experience and insight into how procurement and supply chain functions support the broader business. Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role: Support procurement and strategic sourcing activities through data collection, supplier comparisons, and analysis Assist with spend analysis, reporting, and dashboard preparation Help organize supplier documentation, contracts, and compliance materials Support supplier onboarding and performance tracking efforts Assist with supply chain planning, inventory, or operational analyses as needed Prepare presentations and summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership Participate in process improvement initiatives within procurement Factors for Success: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or a related field Strong interest in procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain management Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is a plus A Few Other Details Worth Mentioning: The position will be based in our beautiful Irvine office, complete with a courtyard, table tennis, snacks and drinks, and occasional catered meals.
