The Platform team builds the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Cost Engineering Product Area, whose mission is to drive sustainability through cost and climate intelligence, amplifying Spotify's ability to deliver creativity to the world. Cost Engineering is responsible for optimizing the cost and carbon footprint of our infrastructure and software. Our team operates at the intersection of technology, product, procurement, and finance, making it one of the most dynamic and impactful places to work at Spotify.

As a Data Engineer in Cost Engineering, you’ll influence decisions that build Spotify’s technology and financial future. By crafting and implementing the data systems that power our cost practices, you’ll provide the foundations that enable us to optimize its cost and carbon footprint, enabling Spotify to grow sustainably while reducing our climate impact.
