  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and quality targets.
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project documentation, including requirements, design records, test plans, and release materials are complete and accurate.
  • Champion continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and execution practices.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (Master’s a plus).
  • 5+ years of project management experience in engineering product development (hardware, systems, or integrated hardware/software preferred).
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, from concept to production release.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional engineering projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to engage effectively with engineers and technical leaders.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with industrial and automotive systems, sensing technologies (LiDAR, sensors, ASICs), hardware/software integration, or other related technical domain.
  • Familiarity with product qualification and reliability testing requirements (e.g. AEC-Q, ISO, or industry-specific requirements).
  • PMP, Agile, or other equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in New Product Introduction, manufacturing transfer, and scaling products into production.
