If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.  The role:• Design and develop low-voltage vehicle control boxes and define functional and performance specifications using established best practices (e.g.

LVJB, OBC, DCDC, GWSW, fuse boxes, ECU, etc.).• Design fixtures and rigs of EV battery models.• Collaborate with supply chain and hardware/software engineers to ensure coherent design and timely release.• Coordinate CAE, design, prototyping, and testing of components, including documentation of activities.• Lead failure analyses and conduct experiments to propose design revisions and solutions.• Oversee documentation, including BOM, assembly drawings, and design specifications.• Troubleshoot issues from manufacturing and assembly plants.

Requirements

• Familiarity with PCBA, casting, sheet metal, and injection molding part design.• Experience with DFM, DFA, and prototyping techniques.• Demonstrated understanding of design for relevant manufacturing processes.• Strong proficiency with CATIA CAD Tool (preferred V6).• Fluent in Mandarin and working level proficiency in English.

Preferred:• Technical problem-solving abilities based on a solid grasp of engineering fundamentals.• Strong written and spoken English, i.e. actively participate in English-speaking meetings.• Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently.   At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
