Global Ingredient Developer (m/f/x)

The Role

From day one you will be responsible for assessing, recommending and developing new ingredients with impact across international markets, including sensory evaluation. You will partner with Procurement and local Ingredient teams to propose the best international ingredient solutions, for a range of initiatives around innovation, quality improvement and/or ingredient portfolio optimization.

What you’ll do The role will oversee different aspects of ingredient development at HelloFresh, with focus on multimarket ingredients, i.e., ingredients used across markets for a variety of initiatives.   Core Responsibilities  Develop and execute strategies for new ingredient launches and quality improvements Drive portfolio optimization to enhance variety and improve efficiency, collaborating with Procurement and FSQA  Lead the product workstream in international tenders, applying ingredient/product and sensory expertise to set quality standards Lead the sensory evaluation for international tenders, presenting actionable recommendations Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sensory within HelloFresh, which includes supporting the oversight of the sensory lab and panels   What you’ll bring Bachelor in Food science/Product Development or Sensory Research/Project management and other related fields preferred Min 2 years of strong/proven experience in project management or management consulting preferably within Food/ FMCG industries Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, project management & planning skills An organized and clear communicator with experience in managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously At home in a data-driven environment A proven innovator with a track record of turning ideas into reality and hungry for further impact A track record of driving change in a complex organizational environment Passionate about food or relevant experience in quality assurance of ingredients / raw materials and excited by the HelloFresh product What we offer Healthy discount on weekly HelloFresh boxes Annual learning and development budget to attend conferences or purchase educational resources plus access to the HelloFresh Academy Subsidized childcare with a professional nannying agency Free access to Headspace, biweekly in-house yoga classes (remote since March 2020) A diverse and vibrant international environment of 70+ different nationalities Additional perks include: Free crash course in German, compensation for advanced external German classes, discounts for our neighboring gym & Urban Sports Club, summer & winter parties, discount on our HelloFresh vending machines The chance to have a significant impact on one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe in an exciting growth phase   Are you up for the challenge?
