Job Description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a part of the GenAI Technical Program Manager team, you will be responsible for organizing and delivering priority programs, ensuring pace and focus towards Google DeepMind’s mission of solving intelligence to advance science and benefit humanity.

You will partner with many technical teams across Google DeepMind, collaborating with Gemini leads, research scientists, engineers, product managers, and other technical program managers to manage all aspects of GenAI programs. You will be a critical contributor to the externalization of Gemini's State-of-the-art (SOTA) models with key partners.

You will collaborate with Gemini leads, research scientists, engineers, and other Technical Program Managers to plan, track, and manage all aspects of this engagement. You will be responsible for ensuring that the engagement stays on schedule, managing critical compute resources, identifying and mitigating risks, and designing tools that facilitate timely decision-making.

Your role will require a foundational AI knowledge, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment inherent to AI research.
