Senior Software Engineering Manager, YouTube Live

SWE Managers have not only the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership to major projects, but also manage a team of engineers. You not only optimize your own code but make sure engineers are able to optimize theirs.

As a SWE Manager you manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team. In this role, you will build and lead a team experienced engineers and drive the Live streaming offerings in YouTube Bangalore. Your role will include modernising and growing live streaming on living room surfaces, as well as, creating a scalable creator platform that enables a reliable third-party ecosystem.

Your role will encompass the entire technical stack, and the new leads will partner with a co-located UX and product team on delivering the business goals.
