The engineer is also responsible for reliable, consistent operation of these systems to provide a top quality video delivery experience for our customers.  Responsibilities: Designing and implementing a MVPD-based live ABR video processing environment Develop tools to scale deployments of chosen architectures Work with various business-critical vendors to drive feature development and bug fixes Work with multiple teams to launch new services on the Fubo platform Provide Tier 2 support as needed Perform routine maintenances as needed, possibly overnight  Participate in an on-call rotation and act as a subject matter expert for fuboTV-internal groups Required Skills: Solid experience in various video and audio codecs such as AVC, HEVC, AAC, E-AC3 Solid experience in multimedia transport protocols including RTP, RTMP, SRT, UDP, Zixi Experience in various streaming packaging methods such as HLS and DASH Understanding of alternate content workflows in ABR ecosystem (ESAM, ESNI/SCTE-224/SCTE-35, etc)  Experience in developing automation using languages such as Python, Ruby, GoLang, with ability to adapt to business needs as required Familiarity with DRM and content encryption, including 3rd-party integrations Familiarity with different CDN vendors and their systems (e.g.

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo's equity plan, annual cash bonus plans, unlimited PTO, and a full range of medical benefits. The final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, and other business considerations.
