Title Marketing Coordinator Reports To Sports Marketing Manager The Job The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Sports Marketing Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of all sports marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on Formula 1 (F1), the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), and additional sponsored or branded events.
This role ensures seamless event operations, effective sponsorship activation, on‑site brand execution, and internal/external stakeholder coordination. Additionally, this role will provide support for a variety of investor relations events and meetings. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is highly organized, and brings creative energy to marketing projects. Responsibilities Assist in the development, planning, and execution of event marketing strategies across F1, NHRA, and additional brand events. Coordinate pre‑event logistics including scheduling, vendor management, credentialing, travel arrangements, and event materials. Capture event content (photos, videos, recaps) for marketing, social media, and internal reporting. Assist with the execution of sponsorship deliverables tied to F1, NHRA, and other partnerships. Coordinate cross‑functional communication with agencies, event organizers, racing teams, and internal stakeholders. Assist with marketing materials, creative requests, and content approvals. Ability to host and engage with VIP partners and customers during marquee event weekends along with an understanding of how to logistically navigate across complex venues. Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team, with coworkers/ teammates, and leaders across the organization. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Sports Management, or related field—or equivalent experience. 1–3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or sports/entertainment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and basic project management tools. Ability to travel frequently (including weekends) during busy event seasons. Must have the ability to be even tempered and calm during demanding event weekends. Preferred Experience supporting sports marketing, racing, motorsports, or high‑visibility events. Familiarity with vendor coordination, hospitality management, and sponsorship activation. Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑energy environments with changing priorities. Location Miami, FL Travel Occasional travel will be required. Work Environment This job operates both in a professional office environment as well as at event locations. Event locations are typically automotive racing events which have large crowds and loud noises. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, and smartphones. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift to 20 pounds. Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, in office position.
General hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but many times nights and weekends may be required. Supervisory Experience (Yes or No) No
