Role and Team As an ADESA Vehicle Operations Manager, you will lead the Lot Operations, Reconditioning, and Logistical needs at the auction.  You will develop a high-performing team that will exceed expectations.

Those who communicate effectively, practice and promote teamwork, and understand the importance of staying up to date on corporate policies, procedures and processes will be on their way to success in this position.

Responsibilities

Develops strong partnerships with the corporate office to implement and ensure compliance with all company initiatives, policies and procedures Work closely with the General Manager and other Auction Management to ensure the best possible customer experience Act as the at-auction point person for all lot operations, vehicle reconditioning and logistics management needs Provides direction and oversight in the execution of auction processes for efficient runs Drives the process excellence initiative within lot operations with a strong understanding of corporate processes, collaboration across the organization and communication both externally and internally The ability to influence and lead others as a people, customer and business manager Engages with customers and employees in a transparent, reliable, and positive manner Possess and demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all administrative and operational processes to provide internal and external customer service Know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws are always followed Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Field Three or more years of people management experience Five to seven years of customer service experience Qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possesses a valid driver’s license Wholesale Auto Auction experience preferred Must be able to work with minimal supervision Must be able to work accurate, efficiently and have strong organizational skills Must have ability to remain flexible in work assignments, schedules and have the ability to multitask when necessary Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools ADESA Benefits and PerksCompetitive Pay | Quality Benefits | Holiday and Paid Time Off | Education and Equipment Reimbursement Programs | Matching 401(k) | Career Path Opportunities | And More!
