This player-coach role focuses on building strong relationships with AudioEye’s Enterprise and mid-market customers, understanding their business objectives, and ensuring they realize maximum value from AudioEye’s products and services.  The Lead, Strategic Account Manager, will aim to quickly take on their book of business and transition into a Lead role within the team, acting as a direct manager for assigned junior Account Managers.  This person will lead by example and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, overseeing onboarding and ensuring successful implementation.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, results-driven, and customer-centric, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the implementation and documentation of new processes.

Responsibilities

include fostering strategic client relationships, conducting regular business reviews, driving renewals and upgrades, and contributing to the overall growth and reputation of AudioEye.   How you’ll Contribute:  Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, developing trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors while educating customers on product best practices and benefits Lead and mentor junior account managers, providing guidance, feedback, and support through 1-on-1s and team meetings Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams (Growth, Sales, Support, Billing, Product) to improve processes, strategies, and customer experience Clearly communicate account progress, initiatives, and goals to internal and external stakeholders Identify opportunities for customer expansion, driving upgrades, adoption, and advocacy in collaboration with the sales team Forecast, track, and report key account metrics, including renewals, expansion, and account health Maintain a strong revenue base through proactive retention and renewal management Capture and communicate customer feedback to Product Management, serving as a customer advocate Conduct regular business reviews and account success planning to define status, priorities, and next actions Develop and execute strategies to maximize customer value and long-term satisfaction Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and results within the account management team   Who you are:  Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 6+ years of experience as a Senior/Enterprise Account Manager or similar role 1+ years of experience as a team Lead or Manager Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities Passion for identifying and solving problems Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building Combined background of post-sale and sales experience Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth Analytical and process-oriented mindset Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others Experience with web commerce, web/mobile applications  Knowledge of usability principles, universal design, and techniques  Experience working in fast-paced start-up environments  Ability to balance multiple priorities with acute attention to detail   Our Values: Relentlessly Prioritize the Customer Own Outcomes Be Straightforward Act Now & Iterate Grit Decide with Data  Hire and Develop A Players Be Coachable Organize and Plan Expect and Embrace Change   Benefits and Perks: Work with a talented but humble team Competitive compensation and equity Weekly paid family meal 401k, medical, dental, and vision insurance Flexible and Generous PTO Policy: If you feel you need a break to recharge, we encourage you to take it! 15.5 company-paid holidays including Juneteenth, MLK Day and a 1-week company shut down To support remote work conditions, AudioEye provides each employee a one-time stipend of $300  We have noticed a rise in recruiting impersonations across the industry, where scammers attempt to access candidates' personal and financial information through fake interviews and offers.
