<li>Manage digital communications, social media activity, and stakeholder engagement programmes.</li>
<li>Plan and deliver webinars, roundtables, and stakeholder events.</li>
<li>Media, political, and stakeholder monitoring, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.</li>
<li>Contribute to new business activity, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and pitching.</li>
<li>Collaborate with colleagues across public affairs and communications teams.</li>
<li>Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.</li>
<li>Experience in one or more of Hanover's core sectors, including health, digital technologies, retail, clean growth, would be an advantage.</li>
</ul>
Key Skills &amp; Experience
<ul>
<li>4–5 years' experience in a public affairs consultancy, EU institution, trade association, NGO, corporate public affairs team, or similar environment.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of EU policymaking and regulatory processes and the Brussels media ecosystem.</li>
<li>Experience in developing and managing integrated public affairs and communications campaigns.</li>
<li>Ability to translate complex policy issues into compelling narratives and creative communications strategies.</li>
<li>Experience with stakeholder engagement, events, digital communications, and social media.</li>
<li>Proficiency in relevant communications and engagement tools, including CRM, PR, monitoring, webinar, and content creation platforms.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to analyse complex issues and provide clear, actionable advice.</li>
<li>Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality account work.</li>
<li>Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to business development.</li>
<li>Proficient IT skills (e.g. Microsoft office, AI tools, social media/marketing tools)</li>
