As a Data Scientist I in Prescriptive AI, you will be a part of a team that collaborates with many areas of
the business is to develop and implement decision models to make Dillard’s more profitable and efficient.
This role reports to the Manager of the Predictive/Prescriptive AI. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an exceptional team of Operations Researchers and Data Scientists. This role provides cross--
training and experience in different fields of AI, including Gen AI.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
&nbsp;

<li>Learn and maintain current applications and models in production</li>
<li>Make necessary adjustments to the models, test them, and deploy them in production while&nbsp;keeping feedback from various business units</li>
<li>Develop mathematical models using optimization techniques and implement them in Python,&nbsp;test your scripts in the development environment, and deploy them in production</li>

THE OPPORTUNITY
This position is for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join the ePub team. At this time, we are looking to complement the team with an individual with comprehensive full-stack development experience, strong communication skills, and an ability to collaborate in an agile environment.
As our ideal candidate, you will be comfortable developing and maintaining both client-side and server-side features of web and hybrid mobile applications while solving complex user experience issues. You will need to communicate effectively with different team members to advocate for our end users and their experience within our projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for building seamless user interfaces and maintaining our back-end architecture while consistently researching new features from framework and library upgrades.

This position is on the ePub Team. The ePub application is a full-stack web application that enables our Publishing Team to manage product data and imagery. While our primary focus is ensuring all items are seamlessly pushed to eCommerce to be presented on dillards.com for our customers, the team also actively interfaces with and supports multiple other vital areas across the business.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
WHAT YOU WILL DO
<ul>
<li>Follow an SDLC of Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance spanning the entire full-stack ecosystem.</li>
<li>Learn the business environment while working in a collaborative environment to achieve organizational goals.</li>
<li>Communicate frequently with the team lead and other team members to ensure tasks are being completed accurately, on time, and goals are met.</li>
<li>Develop new front-end user experiences, robust back-end features, or fix bugs as assigned for the applications for which your Squad is responsible.</li>
<li>Be involved in Peer Reviews of full-stack development work completed by other developers within the ePub team.</li>
<li>Stay current with framework and library upgrades across the entire stack through implementation and constant research.</li>
<li>Advocate for migration to new features in framework and library updates.</li>
<li>Research and implement industry best practices in web and hybrid mobile applications.</li>
