Waystar offers a competitive referral bonus program designed to incentivize current employees to refer qualified candidates for open positions within the company, especially in tech and product roles. Below is a detailed breakdown of the referral bonus structure, eligibility, and payout process.

Referral Bonus Structure

Tech/Product Roles:

• Software Engineer: $3,000
• Product Manager: $3,500
• Data Scientist: $3,000
• UX/UI Designer: $2,500
• DevOps Engineer: $3,000

Other Roles:

• Sales Executive: $2,000
• Customer Support Representative: $1,000
• Human Resources Specialist: $1,500
• Finance Analyst: $1,500

Eligibility Criteria

• The referring employee must be a current Waystar employee at the time of referral and when the bonus is paid out.
• The referred candidate must successfully complete the interview process and be hired for a full-time position.
• The referred candidate must not have previously applied for any position at Waystar in the past 12 months.
• The referral bonus is only applicable to specific roles that are marked as eligible for the program.

Payout Process

• The referral bonus is paid out in two installments:
  • First Installment (50%): Paid after the referred candidate has completed 90 days of employment.
  • Second Installment (50%): Paid after the referred candidate completes 6 months of employment.

Additional Notes

• There is no cap on the number of referrals an employee can make.
• In the case of multiple referrals for the same candidate, the bonus will be awarded to the first employee who submitted the referral through the official referral system.
• Employees in HR and recruitment roles are not eligible for referral bonuses.
