Referral Bonus Overview

• Eligibility: All full-time NRG Energy employees are eligible to participate in the referral bonus program, with the exception of HR personnel or those directly involved in the hiring process for the referred candidate.

• Referral Bonus for Tech/Product Roles:

  • Software Engineer: $2,000
  • Product Manager: $2,500
  • Data Scientist: $2,000
  • UX/UI Designer: $1,500
  • DevOps Engineer: $2,000

• Referral Bonus for Other Roles:

  • Sales Associate: $1,000
  • Customer Service Representative: $500
  • Marketing Specialist: $1,500

Process

1. Submission: Employees can submit referrals through the internal employee portal. The referral must include the candidate’s resume and a brief justification for their fit for the role.

2. Candidate Evaluation: Referred candidates will undergo the standard recruitment process. The referral bonus is applicable only if the candidate is hired and completes a specified probationary period.

3. Probationary Period: A referred candidate must complete a 90-day probationary period for the referring employee to be eligible for the referral bonus.

4. Payment: The referral bonus is paid out in the next payroll cycle following the successful completion of the probationary period by the referred candidate.
