Materion Referral Bonus Program

Materion values the contributions of its employees and recognizes the significant impact that highly skilled professionals can have on the company's success. As part of our efforts to attract top talent, we have implemented a competitive Referral Bonus Program. This program incentivizes current employees to refer qualified candidates for open positions within the company, particularly in tech and product roles, but also for other positions across the organization.

Referral Bonus Details

Tech/Product Roles

Employees who refer candidates for tech and product roles are eligible for a generous referral bonus. These roles typically include positions such as Software Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and UX/UI Designers.

• Bonus Amount: Up to $5,000 per successful hire
• Payment Schedule: The bonus is paid in two installments:
  • 50% after the new hire completes 90 days of employment.
  • The remaining 50% after the new hire completes 1 year of employment.

Other Roles

For non-tech/product roles, which may include positions in sales, marketing, finance, and operations, the referral bonus is still competitive.

• Bonus Amount: Up to $2,500 per successful hire
• Payment Schedule: Similar to tech/product roles:
  • 50% after the new hire completes 90 days of employment.
  • The remaining 50% after the new hire completes 1 year of employment.

Eligibility and Process

1. Eligible Participants: All full-time, part-time, and contract employees, excluding HR personnel and hiring managers directly involved in the recruitment process for the specific role.

2. Candidate Qualification: Referred candidates must be new to Materion and not previously submitted by other means or have applied independently within the last 12 months.

3. Submission Process:

   • Referrals must be submitted through the official Materion referral portal.
   • Employees must provide the candidate's resume and a brief recommendation statement.
