Referral Bonus Details

Tech/Product Roles

• Software Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists:
  • Bonus Amount: $5,000
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • The referred candidate must be successfully hired and complete a 90-day probationary period.
    • The referring employee must be actively employed at Markel at the time of payout.
  • Payout Schedule: The bonus is paid in two installments:
    • 50% after the referred hire completes the 90-day probationary period.
    • 50% after the referred hire completes one year of employment.

Other Roles

• Sales, Marketing, Operations:
  • Bonus Amount: $3,000
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • The referred candidate must be successfully hired and complete a 90-day probationary period.
    • The referring employee must be actively employed at Markel at the time of payout.
  • Payout Schedule: The bonus is paid in two installments:
    • 50% after the referred hire completes the 90-day probationary period.
    • 50% after the referred hire completes one year of employment.

General Guidelines

• Eligibility: All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the referral program, with the exception of those involved in the hiring process for the referred position.
• Referral Process:
  • Employees must submit referrals through the official referral portal, including relevant candidate details and a resume.
  • Referrals must be submitted before the referred candidate applies independently.
