Freshpet Referral Bonus Program

Freshpet values the contributions of our employees and recognizes that the best advocates for our company are often those who work here. Our referral bonus program is designed to incentivize employees for recommending candidates who embody our values and can contribute to our mission. Below is a detailed overview of our referral bonus structure, focusing primarily on tech and product roles but also touching on other areas.

Bonus Structure for Tech/Product Roles

Eligibility

• All full-time Freshpet employees are eligible to participate in the referral program.
• Referrals must be new candidates who have not applied or interviewed at Freshpet within the past 12 months.

Bonus Amounts

• Software Engineer: $3,000
• Product Manager: $3,500
• Data Scientist: $4,000
• UX/UI Designer: $2,500
• DevOps Engineer: $3,500

Payment Schedule

• The referral bonus is paid in two installments:
  • 50% after the referred candidate completes their first 90 days of employment.
  • 50% after the referred candidate completes six months of employment.

Bonus Structure for Other Roles

Eligibility

• Similar to tech/product roles, all full-time employees can refer candidates for other roles at Freshpet.
• Previous job applicants within the last year are not eligible for referral.

Bonus Amounts

• Sales Associate: $1,500
• Marketing Specialist: $2,000
• HR Coordinator: $1,500
• Operations Manager: $2,500

Payment Schedule

• The referral bonus for other roles is distributed as follows:
  • 50% after 90 days of employment for the referred candidate.
  • 50% after six months of employment.

Referral Process

1. Submit a Referral: Employees must submit the referral form via the company’s internal portal, including the candidate’s resume and contact information.
