Referral Bonus Structure

Tech/Product Roles

• Software Engineer, Data Scientist, Product Manager:
  • Referral Bonus: $5,000
  • Eligibility: The referred candidate must stay employed for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Payout Schedule: Bonus is paid in two installments: 50% after the new hire completes 3 months, and the remaining 50% after 6 months.

Other Roles

• Administrative, Marketing, Sales:
  • Referral Bonus: $2,000
  • Eligibility: The referred candidate must stay employed for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Payout Schedule: Bonus is paid in a single installment after the new hire completes 6 months.

Program Guidelines

1. Eligibility for Referrers:

   • All current employees of EastGroup Properties are eligible to participate.
   • HR personnel and hiring managers directly involved in the recruitment process for the position are not eligible for the bonus.

2. Candidate Eligibility:

   • The referred candidate must not have applied to EastGroup Properties within the last 12 months.
   • Candidates must be hired for a permanent, full-time position.

3. Referral Process:

   • Submit referrals through the company's internal referral platform.
   • Ensure the candidate mentions your name during the application process.

4. Bonus Distribution:

   • Bonuses are subject to applicable taxes and will be included in the referrer’s regular paycheck.
   • Referrers must be employed by EastGroup Properties at the time of bonus payout to receive the payment.
