Our referral bonus program is designed to encourage employees to refer qualified candidates for our open positions, particularly in tech and product roles. Below, you'll find detailed information about the program, including potential bonuses and eligibility criteria.

Referral Bonus Structure

Tech/Product Roles

• Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers: For these strategic roles, CoStar offers a referral bonus of $5,000 upon the successful hire and completion of the new employee's probationary period, typically 90 days.

Other Roles

• Sales, Marketing, Customer Support: These roles qualify for a referral bonus of $2,000 upon the successful hire and completion of the new employee's probationary period.
• Administrative and Support Positions: Referrals for these roles are eligible for a $1,000 bonus.

Eligibility Criteria

• Referrer Eligibility: All full-time CoStar employees are eligible to participate in the referral program, except for Human Resources personnel, hiring managers for the specific role, and executives.
• Candidate Eligibility: The referred candidate must not have applied to CoStar within the last 6 months and must be hired into a full-time position.
• Payment Timing: Bonuses are paid out with the referrer's regular paycheck after the referred candidate completes the probationary period.

How to Refer a Candidate

1. Submit a Referral: Use the internal employee portal to submit your referral. Provide the candidate’s resume and any relevant information.
2. Track the Progress: You can track the status of your referral through the employee portal to see updates on interviews and hiring decisions.

Additional Terms

• Multiple Referrals: If more than one employee refers the same candidate, the bonus will be awarded to the first referrer
