Core & Main offers a structured referral bonus program to encourage employees to refer qualified candidates for open positions, including tech and product roles. This program is designed to attract top talent by leveraging the networks of current employees, ensuring that the company continues to grow with skilled and culturally aligned individuals.

Referral Bonus Structure

Tech/Product Roles

• Software Engineers, Product Managers, Data Analysts:
  • Referral Bonus Amount: $2,000
  • Payment Schedule:
    • $1,000 paid after the referred employee completes 3 months of employment.
    • Remaining $1,000 paid after 6 months of employment.

Other Roles

• Sales, Operations, Customer Support:
  • Referral Bonus Amount: $1,500
  • Payment Schedule:
    • $750 paid after 3 months of employment.
    • Remaining $750 paid after 6 months of employment.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Referrer Eligibility:

   • Must be a current Core & Main employee.
   • The referrer should not be involved in the hiring decision for the referred candidate.
   • Executive team members and HR personnel are not eligible for the referral bonus.

2. Referred Candidate Eligibility:

   • Must be a new candidate not previously applied or considered for a position within the last 12 months.
   • Must successfully complete the standard hiring process and be offered a full-time position.
   • Must remain employed for the entire duration of the bonus schedule to trigger payments.

Process for Referring a Candidate

1. Submission:

   • Employees should submit referrals through the Core & Main employee portal, ensuring all candidate details are accurately filled out.

2. Acknowledgment:

   • Once the referral is submitted, the hiring team will acknowledge receipt and begin the evaluation process.
