Referral Bonus Structure

Tech/Product Roles

For referrals that lead to successful hires in tech and product roles, we offer a competitive referral bonus:

  • Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers:
    • Bonus Amount: $5,000
    • Payment Schedule: 50% of the bonus is paid after the new hire completes 90 days of employment, and the remaining 50% is paid after six months of employment.

Other Roles

We also offer referral bonuses for non-tech roles, though these bonuses may vary based on the position and level of the role:

  • General Roles (e.g., Marketing, HR, Operations):
    • Bonus Amount: $3,000
    • Payment Schedule: Similar to tech roles, 50% after 90 days and the remaining 50% after six months of employment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Referring Employee: Must be a current employee of Blueprint Medicines at the time of the referral and at the time when the bonus is due.
  • Referred Candidate: Must not be a current or former employee of Blueprint Medicines or have been interviewed in the past 12 months.
