Our referral bonus program is designed to incentivize employees to refer qualified candidates, particularly for tech and product roles. Below is a detailed overview of the program, including potential bonuses and guidelines.

Referral Bonus Structure

Tech/Product Roles

• Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, UX/UI Designers:
  • Referral Bonus: $5,000
  • Payout Structure:
    • $2,500 after the referred candidate's first 90 days.
    • $2,500 after the referred candidate completes their first year.

Other Roles

• Sales, Marketing, HR, Operations:
  • Referral Bonus: $3,000
  • Payout Structure:
    • $1,500 after the referred candidate's first 90 days.
    • $1,500 after the referred candidate completes their first year.

Special Roles

• Senior Leadership and Executive Positions:
  • Referral Bonus: $10,000
  • Payout Structure:
    • $5,000 after the referred candidate's first 90 days.
    • $5,000 after the referred candidate completes their first year.

Eligibility Criteria

• The referred candidate must be hired for a full-time position.
• The referral must be submitted through the official referral portal before the candidate applies.
• The referring employee must be actively employed with Black Hills at the time of both bonus payments.
• Referrals for interns, contractors, or temporary positions are not eligible for the bonus program.
