Our Referral Bonus Program is designed to encourage and reward employees who help us find skilled professionals to join our team, particularly in tech and product roles. Here’s a detailed outline of our program, including estimated bonus amounts.

Program Overview

The ALLETE Referral Bonus Program offers a financial reward to current employees who refer candidates that are successfully hired for open positions. This initiative is part of our commitment to sourcing high-quality talent through our trusted networks.

Eligible Roles

While the referral program is open to various positions across the company, there is a special emphasis on tech and product roles, including but not limited to:

• Software Engineers
• Product Managers
• Data Scientists
• UX/UI Designers
• DevOps Engineers

Non-tech roles such as Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources are also eligible for referral bonuses but may have different payout structures.

Bonus Structure

The bonus amount is determined based on the level and specialization of the role:

• Tech/Product Roles:

  • Entry-Level Positions: $1,000
  • Mid-Level Positions: $2,500
  • Senior-Level Positions: $5,000
  • Executive Positions: $7,500

• Non-Tech Roles:

  • General Positions: $500
  • Specialized Roles: $2,000

Payment Terms

• The bonus is paid out in two installments: 50% after the referred employee completes three months of employment and the remaining 50% after six months.
• All referred candidates must indicate the referring employee’s name on their application to be eligible for the bonus.
• The referral must be submitted before the candidate applies for the position.
