Below, you'll find the details of our program, specifically focusing on tech and product roles, but also applicable to other positions.

Referral Bonus Structure

Tech/Product Roles

• Software Engineer: $5,000
• Product Manager: $4,500
• Data Scientist: $5,000
• UX/UI Designer: $4,000
• DevOps Engineer: $5,000

Other Roles

• Sales Roles: $3,500
• Marketing Roles: $3,000
• Customer Success Roles: $3,000
• HR/Recruitment Roles: $2,500

Bonus Payment Process

1. Eligibility: All current Alation employees, except for those in HR or with hiring authority over the referred candidates, are eligible to participate in the referral bonus program.

2. Submission: Referrals should be submitted through the official referral portal before the candidate applies. Ensure that the candidate lists you as the referrer when applying.

3. Bonus Payment: The referral bonus is paid in two installments:

   • 50% of the bonus is paid after the referred candidate completes their first 90 days of employment.
   • 50% is paid after the candidate successfully completes one year with Alation.

4. Tax Implications: Referral bonuses are subject to applicable taxes and will be added to your regular payroll after meeting the eligibility criteria.
