8x8 offers a competitive referral bonus program to incentivize employees to refer qualified candidates for open positions within the company. This program is designed to attract top talent, particularly in tech and product roles, but extends to other departments as well. Referral bonuses are a way to reward employees for assisting in the recruitment process, ensuring that the company continues to grow with skilled professionals.

Bonus Structure for Tech/Product Roles

• Standard Referral Bonus: Employees can earn a standard bonus for referring candidates who are successfully hired into tech and product roles. This bonus is typically set at $3,000 per successful hire.

• High-Demand Roles: For certain high-demand positions, such as Senior Software Engineers, Data Scientists, or Product Managers, the bonus can be higher, up to $5,000 per successful hire.

• Diversity and Inclusion Bonus: To encourage a diverse and inclusive workplace, 8x8 offers an additional bonus of $500 for referring candidates from underrepresented groups who are hired.

Bonus Structure for Other Roles

• General Roles: For non-tech and non-product roles, the standard referral bonus is set at $1,500. These roles include positions in HR, finance, sales, and customer support.

• Critical Need Positions: Occasionally, there may be critical need positions outside of tech/product roles where the referral bonus can be increased to $2,500.

Payment Terms

• Eligibility: All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the referral bonus program. Temporary and contract employees are not eligible.

• Payment Schedule: Referral bonuses are paid out in two installments. The first half is paid when the new hire completes 30 days with the company, and the remaining half is paid after the new hire completes 90 days.
