Referral Bonus Structure

Tech & Product Roles

• Software Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and UX/UI Designers:
  • Bonus Amount: $5,000
  • Payout Schedule:
    • 50% ($2,500) after the new hire completes 90 days of employment.
    • Remaining 50% ($2,500) after the new hire completes 6 months of employment.

Other Roles

• Operational, Administrative, and Support Positions:
  • Bonus Amount: $2,500
  • Payout Schedule:
    • 50% ($1,250) after the new hire completes 90 days of employment.
    • Remaining 50% ($1,250) after the new hire completes 6 months of employment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Referrers: All active 89bio employees, except those directly involved in the hiring process for the referred position (e.g., hiring managers, HR staff).
• Referred Candidates: Must be external candidates who are not already in the recruitment process for the same role.

How to Refer

1. Submit Referral: Employees should submit referrals through the internal employee portal, providing details about the candidate and the open position.
2. Track Status: Employees can track the status of their referrals via the portal, receiving updates on interview progress and hiring decisions.
